Sailing trip - Networking for companies

A Sailing trip connects people differently than any meeting. Networking cruises for companies create space for dialogue, trust and new ideas - away from the daily grind. Two to three days on the water create an intensive basis for cooperation that lasts far beyond the cruise.

Sailing trip - Networking for companies

Why a sailing trip for your network?
Digital meetings and short coordination processes characterise many working relationships today. Colleagues often only know each other from emails or video calls. However, real trust is not created on a screen - but where people meet in person. A common Sailing trip offers exactly this framework: You are out and about together, experience nature and team dynamics, and have time for conversations that don't find a place in everyday life.

What happens during the network cruise
A Sailing trip brings people together who otherwise have few points of contact: different locations, departments or business partners. The shared experience creates a closeness that is rarely achieved in workshops or conferences. Conversations on deck, manoeuvring together or an evening in the harbour not only make you more intimate - but also create real connections that will later carry over into business.

Sailing as an experiential space for relationships
A Sailing trip is more than just an excursion. Working together on board makes it clear how communication works: Who takes responsibility? Who listens? Who has the overview? These impressions open our eyes to each other - without any theoretical models. Sailing becomes a natural setting in which trust grows and new ideas emerge.

Procedure in brief (example for 2-3 days)

  • Day 1Get to know each other, safety briefing, first stage on the water. Conversations, getting to know each other, informal exchange.
  • Day 2Joint sailing route with changing tasks on board, time for reflection and targeted discussions. Evening networking in the harbour in a relaxed atmosphere.
  • Day 3Short final round with impulses for further cooperation. Return to the home harbour.

Whereby the network cruise supports

  • Establish new contacts and deepen existing relationships
  • Creating trust between locations, departments or partners
  • Shared experience as a basis for future collaboration
  • Space for discussions, ideas and inspiration away from the daily work routine

Who is it suitable for?
The networking cruise is aimed at companies that want to promote dialogue and cooperation:

  • Managers who work across locations
  • Departments that hardly know each other
  • Teams that are newly formed
  • Business partners or networks who want to deepen their relationships

A Sailing trip creates an atmosphere that cannot be found in any conference room.

Location, season & safety
The standard sailing area is Lake Constance; other sailing areas (e.g. the Mediterranean) can also be used on request. Each Sailing trip is carefully planned according to season and weather. Safety is paramount: instruction and equipment are of course included. Sailing experience is not necessary - all participants can join in as they wish or simply sail along.

Results for your company
A network cruise brings more than just fond memories. After the Sailing trip you have:

  • More binding relationships between colleagues
  • More trust and openness in our dealings with each other
  • New ideas that emerged in casual conversations
  • A shared experience that you can return to again and again

Organisational matters
We clarify the target group, duration and framework in advance. You will receive all organisational information and a packing list. Depending on the area, overnight stays will be on board or in harbour accommodation. We usually start and finish in the morning. Important: The focus is on encounters and dialogue - sailing is the common framework, not the goal.
